For demanding commercial use, the unit features Nemco’s highest-available impact-resistant glass top and a rugged cooling system that protects the internal electronics under extreme conditions. A patented large pot support accepts oversized cookware, and Nemco’s exclusive “continuous field” induction keeps power to the pan even when it is lifted slightly, so chefs can toss, tilt and maneuver pans as on a gas range without losing heat. The glass stays relatively cool to the touch, reducing burn risk and simplifying cleanup, and multiple units can sit side by side to build multi-burner stations.
