The Nemco 6405 is a straightforward, reliable, and versatile countertop hot holding cabinet built to keep up with even the heaviest rush. Designed for high-volume operations that won’t compromise food quality, it keeps multiple hot items oven-fresh and ready to serve, deliver, or pick up — operators simply plug it in, switch it on, and load it, while the cabinet self-monitors for consistent performance. It is factory preset to an optimal holding range of 145°F to 187°F, removing manual controls that staff could set incorrectly, and reaches that range in as little as 20 minutes. A digital temperature display is readable from across the room, and a red service indicator light alerts staff if the cabinet loses its hold (for example, from a door left open), helping protect food quality. A self-sealing, self-drawing door completes its own closing motion and seats firmly against the frame to lock in heat, and its scratch-resistant tempered glass offers clear product visibility and a clean, front-of-house appearance. Stainless-steel construction and heat-tolerant racks stand up to demanding use. Inside, five wide, adjustable stainless-steel racks slide in and out easily and accept hotel pans, half sheet pans, and other wide containers. The generous cavity width suits convenience stores and carry-out pizza kitchens as well as cafeterias, catering lines, and other high-volume hot food operations where humidity assist isn’t required.
